4. The Peddler Steakhouse
The Peddler Steakhouse has been an institution in Gatlinburg since 1976! This excellent restaurant has built a devoted following for its perfectly tender steaks. The secret to The Peddler’s success is using naturally aged, never-frozen meat and grilling it over Tennessee hickory charcoal. In addition to their fantastic steaks, The Peddler also serves superb smoked oysters, salads, trout, and chocolate cake. If you dine at The Peddler, we recommend asking for a window seat, so you can enjoy the restaurant’s beautiful views of the Little Pigeon River.
