Q. What are your Check-in and Check-out times?
A. Check-in is at 3:00 P.M. and Check-out is at 10:00AM.

Q. Do I have to bring my own linens?
A. No, we provide you all clean linens. We use towels and sheets that match the cabin, we don't use white towels and white sheets, these aren't hotel rooms, we want you to feel right at home.

Q. What do we need to bring? What is supplied in the Rental?
A. Our rentals are fully furnished with all linens, towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, silverware, and dishes. We also supply you with a starter supply of soaps, trash bags and toilet paper. All you need to bring is your own food and charcoal for the grill and we recommend bringing extra towels for hot tub use. Please bring the detailed directions that we send you before you leave your house. We know the roads better then any internet mapping site or GPS Unit.

Q. How do I make my Reservations? Do you require a deposit?
A. First you can either call us or book online. To reserve the cabin we require 50% down, and the rest will be due prior to 2 weeks before arrival date. Or you may choose to pay in full. Once we receive your final payment, , we will send you detailed Directions to the property. You will not need to check into an office to get your key, you can drive straight to the cabin.
We accept MasterCard/Visa, American Express, Discover and Money Orders.

Q. How does Online Booking work?
A. Its easy, fast and secure. First you will select the property you are interested in by either using the Advanced Search, or by the drop down rental list. While you are on the description page, go down to availability and online booking section, then you will choose your Arrival/Departure dates, a quote will pop up on the right side and give you an exact total, you then select book now and you will be taken to a secure site (SSL).

Here is where you would fill in your information and on the left hand side would be the total price of your stay. If there are multiple specials during your stay the system will apply the one that saves you the most money. Once you decide to book, your credit card will be charged 50% of the total cost, and the rest of the balance would be charged 14 days prior to the arrival date. If your arrival is less then 14 days away your card will be be charged the full rental amount. Once your card is processed you will receive a confirmation and policy via e-mail. If you would like to use a different card or another form of payment for the remaining balance please call our office or e-mail and we will assist you. Once final payment is received you will receive a receipt, directions, etc.

Q. Do you offer Travel Insurance? Who is eligible? How much does it cost?
A. Yes we offer travel insurance thru CSA Travel Protection.
Anyone is eligible for trip insurance, you can purchase the insurance at time of booking or anytime before the last payment is taken. So if you reserved a cabin online, but didn't select travel protection, you can always purchase trip insurance before your final payment is taken. Once you have paid the reservation in full you are no longer able to purchase insurance. Insurance coverage is a transaction between the guest and CSA Travel Protection. Therefore, only CSA Travel Protection can answer some specific questions regarding coverage, exclusions and claims.

Purchasing trip insurance is easy, and only costs 6.5% of your total reservation cost. Trip insurance premium is non-refundable. Please see our Travel Insurance page for more information.

Q. Do you offer Damage Protection? Who is eligible? How much does it cost?
A. Yes we offer damage protection thru CSA Travel Protection. This is mandatory for each reservation
This protection will cover any unintentional damages up to $3,000.00.

Purchasing damage protection is easy, and only costs $29.95. Damage protection is non-refundable. Please see the Damage Protection flyer for more information.

Q. Do you allow pets in the rentals?
A. Only in the rentals that are advertised as pet friendly, there is a two pet limit in those cabins. A non-refundable fee of $50.00 will be charged to bring your 1st pet and $30.00 for your 2nd pet. Please see our Pet Friendly page here

Q. Do you charge a cleaning fee, per person fee or a hot tub fee?
A. NO we don't. We do charge you a $30.00 non-refundable admin fee for each reservation. When you reserve a rental with us, we are very honest and tell you exactly what it will cost you, we don't believe in hidden fees.

Q. Do we need to clean the Rental when we leave?
A. You are expected to cleanup after yourselves, and remove all trash and put them in the trash cans. We also ask that you wash your dishes, most rentals have dishwashers and put them away.

Q. Do you have a minimum night stay?
A. Yes we require a 2 night stay minimum and 3+ nights for holidays and premium days.
We don't do 1 night rentals.

Q. Is there a minimum age for renting a cabin at Great Outdoor Rentals?
A. Yes, you must be 21 years or older.

Q. Do you have pack n play's, high chairs, and roll away beds for guests to use?
A. No, sorry we don't provide these anymore.

Q. Do you regularly spray your rental properties for pests?
A. Yes we do, we hire a professional company that performs regular monthly pest control maintenance. Because our rentals are located in wooded areas we cannot guarantee they will be pest free. Please call our office and we will do our best if there is a pest issue. We can't control mother nature!

Q. Are your cabins right next to each other like in a resort type community?
A. NO, we are not a resort. Many of our cabins offer seclusion and privacy. None of our cabins are in arms reach of another, like so many of the resort communities around here..

Q. Where is your Office located?
A. When coming from I-40, take Exit 407 (the main exit for Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Dollywood. And go south on 66, then you will come to 441(the parkway). Keep going south on 441 to Pigeon Forge light #3, then turn right on Wears Valley Rd(Hwy 321), go south 1 miles and we are on the left hand side.
